Mr Grady Harrison's career started with the United States Navy as a Nuclear Submarine Officer for 5 years before he joined Union Carbide as an Applications Engineer (industrial gases) for 3 years. Grady then joined the Vallourec Group where he spent 23 years before joining Future Pipe Industries. While in Vallourec Grady was responsible for marketing and exporting products for the nuclear industry in China, India, South Korea and North America. He then became President of a commercial joint venture between Vallourec and Inco Alloys from 1994-1999. Grady then led a restructuring project for an alloy tube manufacturing plant in France and returned it to profitability in 3 years. This successful venture led to Grady's transfer to the US as President of VAM USA where he was responsible for the growth of the threaded pipe market in the US. He grew the company from $35M to $75M before overseeing a merger with Atlas Bradford which raised the annual revenue to $150M and EBITDA from 15% to 28% in 5 years. From 2008 Grady was the President of V&M Tube Alloy where he introduced manufacturing initiatives in the Texas, Louisiana and Wyoming plants that resulted in global market growth from 18% to 35% during his tenure.

Grady was awarded a Bachelor's in International Business from the University of Texas in 1982 and attended the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School in 2007.
