Dr. Musallam Ali Musallam holds a Bachelors degree in Political Science from West Liberty State College in West Virginia, a Masters in Political Science and a PhD in International Relations from Georgetown University in Washington D.C. He is also a Fellow of St. John’s College in Oxford, United Kingdom.
Dr. Musallam began his career in 1980 at the Saudi Ministry of Defense and Aviation in Riyadh as a member of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s diplomatic mission to Washington D.C., USA in 1982. Since 1996, he has been the Chairman for "SKAB for Commerce and Industry Group", and is also currently a lecturer in International Affairs at King Abdul Aziz University in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
In addition, Dr. Musallam is the Vice Chairman of the Institute for Social and Economic Policy in the Middle East at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, a Member of the Council on Foreign Relations in New York, a Member of the Young Presidents’ Organization, a Member of the World Economic Forum, and a Board Member of the Arab Thought Foundation.
Dr. Musallam was appointed as a Non-Executive Director of Future Pipe Industries in February 2008.
