Mr. Michael Olivier holds a Bachelors and a Masters of Science from the University of Louisiana in Lafayette and is a Certified Economic Developer from the Economic Development Institute at the University of Oklahoma.
Mr. Olivier began his career as the founder and CEO of International Relations Consultants, Inc. in 1979, before moving on to academia, where he was a Councelor, Assistant Dean and then Director of International Programs at the University of Southwestern Louisiana. He has also served over 17 years as the Executive Director and Chief Executive of the Harrison County Development Commission in the casino and industrial region of the Mississippi Gulf Coast and held the positions of General Manager and Executive Vice President of the Lafayette Economic Development Authority and Secretary for Economic Development for the state of Louisiana.
In his current role as Regional President for the Americas for Future Pipe Industries, Mr. Olivier is responsible for the management and growth of our operations in the Americas region.
