As part of the celebrations of the Holy Month of Ramadan we have taken our UAE based Plant workforce to visit the Sheik Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
The Sheik Zayed Grand Mosque is the largest mosque in the United Arab Emirates covering an area of more than 12 hectares and is considered to be the key site for worship in the country.
The project was launched by the late president of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, whose goal was to establish a structure that would unite the cultural diversity of the Islamic world with the historical and modern values of architecture and art.
We would like to thank the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Center who manages the day-to-day operations and also the center of learning and discovery through its educational and cultural activities/visitor programs for their collaboration on this initiative for our employees.
