For over 30 years, Wavistrong™ pipe systems have been successfully installed throughout the world under the most corrosive and demanding conditions. Today there are 1,000 miles of Wavistrong™ pipe in continuous use in refineries, LNG plants, petrochemical plants, power plants, oil fields, and offshore platforms and it is considered a world-leading technology in accordance with international standards including the UK Offshore Operators Association (UKOOA), ISO 14692 and Shell DEP 188.8.131.52-Gen.
Developed in-house by Future Pipe Industries (FPI), Wavistrong™ stands the test of time because it is manufactured to the highest specifications, using a thermosetting resin system where glass fibers are wound on to a smooth rotating mandrel and impregnated with an aromatic or cycloaliphatic amine cured epoxy resin. The resulting pipe has a high chemical and corrosion resistance as well as excellent mechanical, physical and thermal properties.
In addition to the Wavistrong™ range, three product families were custom designed to serve specific needs/applications which are: Wavistrong™ H2O, Wavistrong™ FR and Wavistrong™ Fibertubes. Wavistrong™ product line is available in both electrically conductive and non conductive series.
WavistrongTM pipes and fittings range from 25 mm to 1,600 mm in diameter and can withstand pressures up to 50 Barg. This makes Wavistrong™ the ideal pipe system for a wide range of applications in both underground and aboveground installations:
